ST. MARY'S AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

The After School Program is designed to meet the needs of those parents who are unable to pick up their child/ren at the regular dismissal time. We provide a safe and familiar environment with adequate adult supervision, including teachers and teacher assistants.

ELIGIBILITY

The After School Program operates on school days after the close of school to 5:30 P.M. and on half days from the close of school until 5:30 P.M. All students who attend St. Mary's School are eligible to participate in the program which is held in our gym. Each participating child needs to be registered by means of the Parent Contract.

ACTIVITIES

Snack time, outdoor activity time (weather permitting), games, arts and crafts are all part of activity time. Homework and reading time will also be made available to the students.

FEES AND COSTS

Costs are determined each year based on time and duration of the program. Nonrefundable registration fee of $30.00 per child (covers arts & crafts, games and supplies for entire school year!). Please make checks payable to St. Mary's School. In order to be able to provide this service to our families, participating families will be billed a minimum of 3 hours per week. For the 2005-2006 school years, the cost is $4.00 per hour or any part of an hour. If a family has more than 1 child the cost will be $3.50 per hour for each child.

BILLING

Bills are sent home monthly. Payment is due within 14 days of receipt. A late fee of $10.00 will be added to delinquent bills. Checks are to be made out to St. Mary's School. The After School Program is a self-funded, non-profit program.

PARTICIPATION

Each participating child needs to have a change of clothes. At this time, we ask that you send your child/ren with a snack to the after school program. Please do not send them with candy or gum.
